As many will already know the future of the Barry War Museum @ Barry Island Station going into 2023 is uncertain. But, in the meantime (2022) we are very much alive and kicking!

Dinas residents group takes strides in the revamping of their community garden. A plea was put out for donations of materials and manpower to help resurrect the community garden after it suffered from the Covid19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns.

Dinas Powys residents living in Fairoaks, a sheltered housing scheme for people who are of the older generation some who need a little extra care, have been trying to get funding and or donation’s to enhance their community garden.

We are currently  low in O blood types and it is vital we maximise attendance at all our clinics over the coming weeks to meet demand at hospitals across Wales .

Tool Aid Charity is in need of premises. The workshop would, ideally 130 sq mts, in the Penarth locality and suitable to be fitted out with six or so workstations including substantial metal workers benches with vice, electrical supply etc.

Friends of Llantwit Major Dementia Café is in need of free meeting space, between two to three hours a week.
