Health, Social Care, and Wellbeing Network

The Vale Health, Social Care and Wellbeing Network brings together third sector organisations (local, regional and national) operating in the Vale of Glamorgan who have an interest in health and social care. The Network’s membership is also open to statutory partners and is free to join.

The aims of the Network are to:

  • Bring together voluntary organisations to have a strong, collective voice

  • Support involvement of the voluntary sector in planning, development and delivery of health and social care services

  • Support voluntary sector involvement in health and social care planning groups

  • Facilitate communication between the voluntary, statutory and other sectors

  • Influence health and social care policy to bring about change and improve services

  • Advise on health, social care and wellbeing needs and gaps in service provision

  • Promote the work of the voluntary sector

Network members have:

  • Regular updates on health, social care and wellbeing

  • Invitations to Network events which focus on specific topics

  • The opportunity to contribute to policy development and joint responses to policy consultations

  • Support to contribute towards health, social care and wellbeing planning groups

  • The chance to network with other voluntary organisations and the statutory sector

  • Opportunities to promote their services to over 500 members
