This year, Volunteers’ Week running 3rd – 9th of June is celebrating 40 years of Volunteers’ Week. 

A nurse who spent two months with clinicians and patients in the southern African country of Lesotho has reflected on her "unforgettable" experience.

The Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) have commissioned Richard Newton Consulting to undertake two pieces of work. One to evaluate the experiences of those who have used their safeguarding support services, and two to work out the sectors requirements for safeguarding services in Wales.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services are delighted to announce that applications are now open for 2024/25 Third Sector Small Grant Scheme – Community Action Fund. This scheme (revenue and capital) aims to support community action and volunteering which aims to improve the local community, local environment and the health and wellbeing of people in the Vale of Glamorgan. Organisations can apply for a maximum of £3000. There is no minimum amount. The deadline for submission of 12 noon on 21st June 2024.
