ASH Wales is looking for an Engagement Officer

Hours and location: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Remote working with occasional travel throughout Wales, ideally the candidate will be South Wales based.

Remuneration package: Annual salary is £25,000 per annum. 28 days annual leave per annum in addition to public holidays. Employees are enrolled into a Medi Cash health plan that offers health and wellbeing benefits, in addition to retailer discounts and discounted gym memberships. Death in service package also provided.

The role: As Engagement Officer, you will be a creative and strategic thinker with the ability to connect with a community of healthcare professionals, third sector partners and other stakeholders across Wales and beyond. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital messaging to build on our reputation as a trusted provider of research and evidence to support our aims and values. As a fully remote team member, you will need a high level of self-motivation and organisation to get the job done. You will be responsible for organising and delivering high-profile events and using social media and other communications to extend the reach of our work and message.

Typical duties include but are not limited to;

·        Stakeholder engagement & network building

·        Write, design and publish stand-out web content

·        Create eye-catching and thought-provoking social media content

·        Write accurate and accessible content; including blogs, social media posts, newsletters, press releases and briefings

·        Develop exciting and engaging ideas to take our events to the next level
