GVS reaches 768!

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) now has an incredible 768 organisations in membership who benefit from a whole range of free services. GVS supports charitable, community groups and clubs operating in the Vale of Glamorgan and surrounding areas.

Do you know that we can help organisations through:

• Free assistance and guidance to help your organisation find funding and we operate funding grant schemes

• Recruiting volunteers for your organisation and give advice on the management of volunteers

• Assisting trustees to run groups efficiently and legally, help set up new groups, develop governing documents, provide support with registering as a charity and assist with the development of policies and procedures

• Acting as an information hub, circulating immediate and relevant news from key organisations such as the Welsh Government, Vale of Glamorgan Council, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, Public Health Wales and key and relevant funding bodies

• Offering networking, partnership working and engagement with key health bodies

• Accessing our highly efficient practical services e.g. design, printing, photocopying, free equipment loan

• Accessing high quality discounted training run by experts on diverse topics

• Free promotion via our many publicity channels

Membership is free if your organisation’s income is under £17,000 per annum. Membership fees are very little for organisations with higher incomes and Associate Membership is free of charge.
