Learning Disability Wales is looking for a new Policy and Communications Officer 

Hours and location: 30 hours a week that can be worked flexibly over the week. You will be based at our office in Llanishen, Cardiff and can also work some of your hours from home. However, if you cannot travel to the office, you may be able to request to be a home worker.

Salary: Actual annual salary of £23,143 rising by annual increments to £25,428 based on 30 hrs per week (full-time equivalent £28,543 rising to £31,362).

The role: This post will work across all our projects and help communicate our views on learning disability policy through researching and producing policy responses, press releases and social media content. You will understand the barriers and challenges faced by people with a learning disability and/or autism and have a working knowledge of the relevant UK and Welsh government policies.
