One Health: Improving wellbeing and welfare for people and dogs

Tue, 4 Feb 2025 10:00 - 11:30 – BOOK YOUR FREE PLACE

This interactive workshop is for anyone working to support people in our local communities across South Wales, either as a professional, a volunteer or as part of a community group. In this session we will:

  • Learn how human wellbeing and dog welfare are mutually connected

  • Explore how taking a 'One Welfare' approach can help us better support people, animals and communities

  • Consider practical strategies you can use to enhance your practice

  • Understand how meeting dogs' 5 welfare needs and reading dog body language are vital to building positive, mutually beneficial relationships between animals and humans.

  • Share good practice and identify opportunities for your organisation to work together with Hope in the Community for greater impact
