Rhoose Community Library and Activity Centre - Vacancy for Secretary

We are looking for a volunteer Secretary to be a key part of the Trustee Board and Volunteers at Rhoose Community Library and Activity Centre. 

Working closely with the Chairman your main duties will be to issue notice and agenda and take minutes of meetings, keep records of meetings and important documents. 

Submit annual reports to the Charity Commission and liaise with the Trustee Board members to ensure smooth working of the charity. 

Essential skills include ability to take and produce accurate minutes so a good working command of English is required.   

Training can be provided, and our existing Secretary is standing down but staying as one of Trustees and Volunteer Librarians so will be available to advise and help in the transition. 

Must be over 18 and be able to attend two evening meetings per month plus other ad hoc meetings including online meetings as required. 

Would suit someone who retired or working part time and who has experience writing reports.
