Vision friends - Learning disability and sight loss training
This training aims to support you in your role by helping you to recognise signs of sight loss and provide you with resources to develop your skills and signpost you to further support.
The training is part of RNIB’s Vision Friends - Learning Disabilities project.
The course will cover modules on:
Identifying Sight Loss
Understanding Sight Loss
Accessing Eye Care Services
Creating an inclusive environment
We are delivering both an online session and an in-person event.
The online course takes place over two days:
Date: Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th March 2024 (you will need to attend each session)
Time: 10:00 - 12:00 each day
