Volunteer at our Café (Age Connects)

Our café is looking for volunteers aged 18+.

If you have a few hours per week to spare, why not help us?

Volunteers are required to help at the café serving refreshments and light snacks.

You could help with:

• taking orders and serving

• using the till

• cooking, clearing, washing up

• cleaning tables at close and getting everything popped away

The café is a well-used environment with a constant flow of customers.

You would be required to take the food hygiene test. We can talk you through this.

It a lovely space to speak to both customers and volunteers.

Time commitment:  A suggested time commitment is a few hours per week, days and hours are negotiable with the organisation.
Expenses reimbursed: Travel expenses are reimbursed.
Training provided: Full training is provided.
Selection procedure: Informal discussion, application form completion and 2 references.
