Bonvilston Edge Growing Session

In partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Healthy Schools and Healthy & Sustainable Pre-School Schemes, Emma and Geraint from Bonvilston Edge provided an informative, interactive and enjoyable ‘Growing session’ at CF61 on Thursday 6th June. The session gave school staff and pre-school practitioners the opportunity to gain practical experience in planting seeds, health and safety knowledge required for planting and growing vegetables and an understanding of soil nutrients and cultivation. It was the perfect venue for hosting it - the sunshine making the outdoor practical element in CF61s lovely sensory garden a very pleasant experience.
