Project Zero is the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s response to the Climate and Nature Emergencies. On Monday 3rd June, the first day of Volunteers’ Week, Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) celebrated its priceless volunteers with an Afternoon Tea at its CF61 Community Centre in Llantwit Major. This was no ordinary afternoon tea with almost thirty of GVS’ volunteers attending

Citizens Advice Cardiff & Vale are an independent charity that provides free, confidential and impartial information and advice to the residents of the City and County of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, as well as to Wales and further afield.

30 inspirational individuals will be celebrated in the autumn with a showstopping moment of national recognition to mark their incredible efforts. Any person who has received National Lottery funding or is part of a National Lottery funded project is eligible for nomination. Entries must be received by midday on 17 June 2024.

The Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) have commissioned Richard Newton Consulting to undertake two pieces of work. One to evaluate the experiences of those who have used their safeguarding support services, and two to work out the sectors requirements for safeguarding services in Wales.

The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales (WTSWW) is delighted to announce that it has received funding support from the Welsh Government’s Nature Networks Fund Round 3 (NNF) for a unique project - Dolphin Diet Detectives: Unveiling Dolphin Diets and Engaging Communities for UK Conservation.

As Bro Radio celebrates 15 years of serving the Vale of Glamorgan, the local radio station has announced that its bringing back its Community Awards to celebrate everything great about living, working and visiting the County it serves. Nominations for Bro Radio's Community Awards are open until 11:59pm on Friday 3rd May 2024.
