Opportunities galore at GVS’ Big Volunteering Fayre
Local community organisations and charities will once again be joining Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) to offer volunteering opportunities at the Big Volunteering Fayre on Wednesday 28th January, from 10am – 2pm at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry.

Informal Public Consultation launched for Larnog Solar Farm in Lavernock
Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru, a renewable energy company owned by the Welsh Government, is launching a consultation with local people about its proposals for a new solar farm on Welsh Government owned land in Lavernock, between Sully and Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Information: A Fairer Pathway to Settlement
The information is sent on behalf of the Home Office. Deadline: The consultation runs for 12 weeks and closes at 23:59 on 12 February 2026.
