SKETCH - Llantwit Major Creatives
Sketch Magazine started life as a newsletter for members of the Llantwit Major Art and Craft Group. It had a particularly important role during the Pandemic helping to prevent social isolation by keeping members connected through the lockdown.
Since the Pandemic Sketch has developed, opening its doors to everyone with an interest in the creative arts across South Wales. All that is required to access the magazine is an email as Sketch Magazine is free. There is no Sketch website so production costs are minimal.
Sketch welcomes contributions from artists, poets, writers, photographers, storytellers and musicians. For an emerging artist we offer an opportunity to be published for the first time.
Sketch seeks to publicize and promote local talent and local events. As the magazine has grown it has begun to develop a network of writers, each a specialist in their given fields. We begin to connect with some more established names - people who are keen to engage with a quality production which is free from advertisements.
