This is a key post within Glamorgan Voluntary Services providing a comprehensive information and advice service to the Third Sector, helping organisations operate in line with the principles of good governance, promoting funding opportunities and participate in the delivery of the GVS training programme.

CF61’s Community Garden in Llantwit Major has a brand new resident that's sure to turn heads! Nick Clark, one of the garden's dedicated volunteers, has created a stunning dragonfly sculpture for the Picnic Area.

GVS is excited to announce the Big Volunteering Fayre, a unique event offering organisations the chance to connect with potential volunteers. The fayre will take place on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Barry Memo Arts Centre (CF62 8NA).

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) has superb office space available in its Llantwit Major base at Illtud House. The office space is 560 sq ft, costing £1,026 per month, £12,320 per annum.

At the end of August, GVS hosted a special food knowledge and kitchen skills event for their regular FoodShare Pantry customers. 

We are looking for an exceptional leader who is creative, innovative and dynamic, with experience of management at a senior level within a Third Sector organisation. Closing Date for Applications:  27/09/2024

GVS is thrilled to announce that our CF61 Gardening Project has received a Level 5 – Outstanding award from Wales in Bloom.

The closing date for completing the short survey is Wednesday 18th September 2024 which is in time to feedback to the Ministerial meeting.

“After 25 years of working with Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) preceded by a further 22 years in the Third and Public Sectors, I’ve decided to retire. However, I won’t be leaving immediately as there is some work to be done to recruit a new Operational Manager to GVS."
