GVS’ CF61 Gardening Project benefits from superb Atlantic College volunteers

Students from Atlantic College in the Vale of Glamorgan recently volunteered some time with Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) CF61 Gardening Project in Llantwit Major.  They helped to prepare a new raised vegetable patch by clearing and levelling the ground before covering it with some donated artificial grass.

The students did a fantastic job and will be back in a few weeks to help build some planters from recycled wooden pallets, so they are ready for planting in the Spring.  GVS is very grateful for their support!

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information on our Gardening Project, please contact Cath Haines, Volunteer Co-ordinator at GVS, e-mail: cath@gvs.wales telephone: 01446 741706.
