WCVA Seeks Your Views on its Safeguarding Service

The Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) have commissioned Richard Newton Consulting to undertake two pieces of work. One to evaluate the experiences of those who have used their safeguarding support services, and two to work out the sectors requirements for safeguarding services in Wales.

Through these surveys and focus groups, we aim to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including volunteers, staff members, service users, and community partners, to gather invaluable insights and perspectives on safeguarding practices.

The surveys will provide participants with the opportunity to anonymously share their experiences, perceptions, and recommendations related to safeguarding practices within their respective organisations. Additionally, the focus groups will facilitate in-depth discussions on specific safeguarding challenges, best practices, and potential areas for improvement.

The insights gathered from these surveys and focus groups will help inform WCVAs future offer in respect of safeguarding support.
