GVS’ Design Service extends to pull-up banners, PVC banners, magazines, leaflets, event programmes and lots more! Most recent members’ projects have included designing a PVC banner, pull-up banners, posters and postcards.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) supports community and charitable organisations operating in the Vale of Glamorgan and manages three community buildings. If you require a community space in Llantwit Major or Penarth for exercise classes, choir practice, meetings or even office space, our buildings could meet your needs. 

Proposal to establish a new school building for St Richard Gwyn High school and increase its capacity from 813 places to 1,050 places from September 2025. The consultation period runs from 5 September to 17 October 2023.

The Golden Pass is aimed at inactive adults aged 60+ and aimed at supporting them to become active.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council wants to talk to residents about what matters to them and about life in the Vale of Glamorgan. Let’s Talk About Life in the Vale is a new county-wide survey of residents that gives people living in the Vale of Glamorgan the chance to share their experiences of public services, their priorities for the future, and help the Council better understand how to get more people involved in local decision making.

The GVS 2023 GVS Annual General Meeting will be held “in person” at St. Paul’s Community Centre, Arcot Street, Penarth, CF64 1EU on Wednesday, 25th October at 10.00am finishing by 12noon followed by a light buffet lunch. Hello! My name’s Eleri, I’m a trainee educational psychologist at Cardiff University. For my thesis research, I would like to hear from parents/carers of young adults with Down Syndrome across Wales. I would like to explore what it was like for their young person to become an adult during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Cruse Bereavement Support is able to offer a 3 hour 'Impact of Bereavement on Children and Young People' training course, which can be delivered in your organisation via Zoom to up to 14 people by a Cruse trainer. This training is suitable for those organisations working with Children and Young People

On behalf of the Vale 50+ Strategy Forum we’d like to invite you to the upcoming ‘Have Your Say’ information and social event on Thursday 13th July from 2-4pm at The CF61 Community Centre, Station Road, Llantwit Major, CF61 1ST.  

The Vale Communities for Work + programme will be hosting a Summer Event on the 7th of July 2023 in King’s Square, Barry. The event is open to all ages and is aimed at all those living in The Vale of Glamorgan. It will showcase a range of options for them including further training routes, further and higher education, apprenticeships, employment, health, and well-being.
